Penn State Chesapeake Bay Watershed Stormwater Survey, Oct. 27 Green Infrastructure Solutions Summit

Penn State University researchers are inviting stormwater practitioners to participate in a survey on current practices and implementation of green infrastructure in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed as well as attend an October 27 Chesapeake Stormwater Summit - Overcoming Barriers To Green Infrastructure Solutions in Harrisburg.
The survey is being led by Shirley Clark, Ph.D., Professor of Environmental Engineering at Penn State Harrisburg. It is part of an EPA-funded research grant to study barriers to adoption of green infrastructure approaches to stormwater management and develop recommendations for overcoming them.
If you work in the Chesapeake Bay Basin even part-time you are encouraged to complete the survey. It should take around 15 minutes to complete. The research team is looking for responses to be completed within the next three weeks. All answers are anonymous. There are separate questions for designers and reviewers.
The results of this survey will be published in approximately six months as part of the findings of the EPA-sponsored project, known as the Center for Green Infrastructure and Stormwater Management.

The survey and other research projects will be presented at a Chesapeake Stormwater Summit - Overcoming Barriers To Green Infrastructure Solutions on October 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Penn State Harrisburg.
This summit will provide an opportunity for attendees to explore solutions for overcoming barriers to green infrastructure in meeting Chesapeake Bay stormwater obligations in Pennsylvania.
